Ministries

Food & Fun Night
Every fourth Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. and second Tuesday noon (except Holidays and bad weather) we gather for a meal together followed by various small group activities including Bible studies, card games, Dominoes, and Prayer Shawl ministry.

Adult Sunday School
Our adult Sunday School Class is offered throughout the year providing an opportunity to take a deeper look at Scripture in a small group setting. Classes start at 10:30 AM, following fellowship time.

Youth Sunday School

Our middle and high school youth class meets on Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM, following fellowship time. We engage Christian tradition and scripture through multiple ways including reading, crafting, movie watching, games, writing, and more. We meet September through May. Also check out our youth group!

Children’s Sunday School
Our children's class is for pre-K through 5th grade. We use a one-room curriculuum that gears activities by age level engaging our youngest to oldest learners.  We explore the Bible stories and traditions that give us a good foundation in Christian faith.

Small Group Bible Studies

We have several small group Bible Studies that meet in homes. These monthly groups share in fellowship, study, and support. Please check the congregation calendar for dates and locations, or contact the church office.

Crafting Ministries
Join fellow crafters as we create tangible signs of God’s amazing love and our ongoing support. Our group blesses prayer shawls, lap robes, baby blankets for new babies, and wedding shawls for brides. We also make fleece pillows to comfort surgical patients and fleece blankets for young children and mission homes. We also have a hand-quilting group that finishes quilt tops as a fundraiser for mission and a knot-quilter group that ties blankets for many local missions. Please check the congregation calendar for dates and locations, or contact the church office.

Mission Outreach
Our congregation regularly financially supports many local and international ministry outreach programs including the Le-Win Ministerial Association Benevolence Fund, the Le-Win Food Pantry, Compassion International, Osterloo family missionaries. We also collect coins in our offering plate to give away to local organizations.  Many of our members are active volunteers in local organizations and would be excited to share their experience with you.

Hynm Sing

A Hymn Sing is held the 4th Tuesday of the month at the Lena Living Center.  Residents seem to enjoy the singing and the friendly conversation between hymns. If you can find 45 minutes of time one morning a month to help with this music ministry, please contact Scott Stich or call the church office. We have a good time, and so would you.
